Success Begins With . . .

There is an old saying that goes like this, “The difference between success and failure is, the person who succeeds simply does what the person who failed, did not or was not willing to do.”  My years of business development, personal development, coaching and mentoring has given me much insight to the truths behind this statement.  As I analyze those whom I have coached, many unfortunately do not create the success in their lives they not only deserve, but also are capable of achieving.  Thus, it brings you full circle.  If they have the skill and they have the desire, why then do they fail to achieve the greatness that lies within them.

It all begins with a decision.  The person who succeeds decided at one point or another that they will achieve greatness, they will overcome, they will rise up, they will not be defeated, they will learn the skills necessary, they will seek those who have achieved the success they desire, they will sacrifice now for the future, when they get knocked down they will get up, when they do great things they will stay focused on what got them there, they will strive toward goals, they will have a daily action plan, they will seek to help others and in the end they will be a success.

Success, is about the decision to live by a set of rules foreign to the masses.  The masses choose, defeat, they choose in action, they choose excuses, they choose blame, they choose negativity, they choose lack of focus, they choose having no goals, they choose not to sacrifice, they will not find a mentor, they choose self focus rather than helping others, they choose to create a list of why it will not work verses how will I make this work and ultimately they shape and choose the destiny they are partaking in.
