Perception is reality, you must be perceived as a leader, as a person who is taking steps of action that equate to success in your relative niche. Success in leadership is nothing more than taking the actions of a leader. Leaders who are achieving high levels of success within their niche are doing so because at one point they made a decision, a decision to lead.
